Sugar-free Chocolate Walnut Truffles – Raw and Vegan

Vegan chocolate walnut truffles

You won’t believe these truffles are raw, vegan and sugar-free. Feel free to substitute other nuts for walnuts such as hazelnuts or cashews.  Takes about 15 minutes to prepare and they really taste like chocolate truffles.

Requires a food processor. Makes about 18-20 truffles.

Ingredients

1 cup raw walnuts

1/2 cup ground almonds

2 tbsp cocoa/cacao powder

1 tbsp cacao nibs

10 pitted dates

5 tbsp almond milk

Directions

Blend everything in food processor. Add a little more almond milk if needed.

With clean hands, roll the mixture into small balls.

Roll each one in dried coconut, sesame seeds or ground almonds.

Refrigerate before serving
